Zettl is a trading name of Seringa Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15449830 ("Seringa Ltd", "we", "us" or "our").

Seringa Ltd is the responsible party as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) for personal information collected through the Zettl service.

We process personal information in compliance with:

• the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) of South Africa
• the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018
• the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECT Act)
• recognised principles of fair, lawful and transparent processing

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service you request. This may include:

• contact details you provide, such as your name, email address and phone number
• information you enter into calculators and assessments, such as property values and financial figures
• messages and enquiries you send through our contact form
• usage data collected through analytics tools, including pages visited, time on site and device type (see clause 8)

We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined under POPIA (such as race, health, financial history beyond what you voluntarily enter, or biometric data).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from persons under the age of 18. If you are under 18, please do not submit personal information through this site.

Your information is used only for the purposes for which it was collected, which include:

• delivering calculator results, assessments and emailed reports you request
• responding to enquiries submitted through our contact form
• facilitating introductions to relevant professionals when you explicitly opt in
• understanding how the tools are used so we can improve the service (analytics)
• complying with our legal obligations

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

We process your personal information on the following legal bases:

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Your personal information is only shared with a relevant professional where you have explicitly and separately chosen to connect. Each introduction requires clear, affirmative consent. You are never obligated to proceed.

Seringa Ltd may receive a referral fee when a consented introduction is made. This is disclosed in our Terms of Use.

We may share information with service providers who assist in operating the site (such as email delivery and hosting providers), who are bound by confidentiality obligations and may not use your information for their own purposes.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law:

• Emailed reports and associated contact details: retained for up to 12 months, then deleted
• Contact form enquiries: retained for up to 24 months, then deleted
• Analytics data: retained in accordance with Google Analytics account settings, typically 14 months

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use Zettl — for example, which tools are used most and how people navigate the site. Google Analytics collects data such as pages visited, time spent and approximate location derived from IP address. IP anonymisation is enabled.

Google Analytics data is processed by Google LLC, which may involve transfer of data to the United States and other countries where Google operates. Google applies standard contractual clauses and its own privacy framework to protect transferred data.

Seringa Ltd is based in the United Kingdom. Your personal information may be processed in the UK or by service providers operating in other jurisdictions, including the United States (for Google Analytics).

Where personal information is transferred outside South Africa, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place as required by POPIA section 72, including binding contractual obligations on recipients to protect your information to a standard comparable to POPIA.

We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information in our possession against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure or misuse. These include secure email delivery, access controls and encrypted connections (HTTPS).

Where a security compromise is identified that is likely to prejudice your rights, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as required by POPIA.

As a data subject under POPIA, you have the right to:

• be notified when your personal information is collected
• access the personal information we hold about you
• request correction or deletion of inaccurate or incomplete information
• object to the processing of your personal information
• withdraw consent at any time
• lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa
